Turning the keyboard on
Open iPhone Settings, then General, Keyboard, Keyboards, Add New Keyboard, and choose Emma. Then tap Emma in that list and switch on Allow Full Access: Emma needs it to send your recording for transcription. Switch to Emma with the globe key in any text field and tap the microphone.
AI polish permission
Emma asks before your first dictation, and nothing is sent until you agree. To withdraw or turn it back on, open the Emma app, then Settings, then AI polish. While it is off, dictation does not work. What is sent, and to whom, is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Your subscription
Emma Premium is billed and managed by Apple. To cancel, open iPhone Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Emma. Refunds are handled by Apple. Full details are in the Terms of Service.
