Turning the keyboard on
Open iPhone Settings, then General, Keyboard, Keyboards, Add New Keyboard, and choose Emma. Then tap Emma in that list and switch on Allow Full Access: Emma needs it to send your recording for transcription. Switch to Emma with the globe key in any text field and tap the microphone.
AI polish permission
Emma asks when you first open it, and nothing is sent until you agree. Emma cannot be used without it, because AI polish is what turns your voice into clean text. To withdraw your permission, delete Emma, and email us to have your data deleted; Settings > AI polish in the app says the same. What is sent, and to whom, is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Your subscription
Emma Premium is billed and managed by Apple. To cancel, open iPhone Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Emma. Refunds are handled by Apple. Full details are in the Terms of Service.
